The Elan Ace GSX 23/24 test ski is a race-inspired piste ski built for carving consistent turns on groomed slopes. This used demo model comes with the EMX 12.0 GW FusionX binding already mounted, ready to go straight from the rack.
With a sidecut of 110-68-94 mm at 174 cm, the ski strikes a balance between stability and agility: a wider tip for smooth turn initiation, a narrower waist for solid edge grip, and a tailored tail for controlled release. The 19 m radius encourages long, arcing turns without feeling cumbersome, while the EMX 12.0 binding provides a reliable connection and easy step-in thanks to GripWalk compatibility.
A 19 m radius refers to the circle the ski would carve if you held it on edge—longer radii mean wider, more drawn-out turns. The tip/waist/tail measurements shape how the ski enters, holds, and exits each turn. The EMX 12.0 binding offers a DIN range up to 12 for moderate release settings, and FusionX technology places the boot closer to the ski for more direct power transfer.
