The Nancy Softshell Jacket Women’s from Meru is a hooded outdoor layering piece designed for women who need a bit of wind and light rain protection without the bulk of a hard shell. It’s made to sit comfortably over a base or midlayer when you’re on the move in changing conditions.

Built from a stretchy blend of recycled polyester and elastane, this jacket moves with you whether you’re hiking, cycling or just exploring your local trails. The regular fit offers room for layering while keeping the lines neat under a pack, and the 100% polyester mesh inner adds a soft feel next to the skin. A water-repellent finish free of PFCs sheds light showers and dries quickly, so you stay comfortable if clouds roll in.

The 3-layer construction sandwiches a weather-resistant membrane between the outer fabric and inner mesh, blocking wind and shedding moisture while still allowing breathability—so perspiration can escape when you pick up the pace. At around 420 g, the Nancy strikes a balance between light weight and durability, making it easy to stow in a daypack without feeling flimsy.
