Product Description

The Sabre SV Jacket from Arc’teryx is a short, unlined hardshell ski jacket designed for men who need reliable weather protection on the mountain. With its regular fit and streamlined cut, it’s built to shed wind, snow and rain while allowing you to layer underneath as conditions change.

Constructed from 100% nylon bonded to an ePTFE membrane and finished in a 3-layer GORE-TEX Pro build, this jacket stands up to rough use and keeps moisture out without trapping sweat. At just under 600 grams, it strikes a balance between rugged durability and manageable weight, and the inclusion of Bluesign®-approved fabrics with at least 30% recycled content means you’re choosing a shell that meets high environmental standards.

The heart of the jacket’s performance is its ePTFE membrane—expanded polytetrafluoroethylene—which contains millions of microscopic pores too small for liquid water but large enough to let moisture vapor escape. Laminating this membrane between the nylon face fabric and a protective backer creates a three-layer system that resists abrasion and maintains consistent waterproofing and breathability over time.
