The Latok Mountain GTX Jacket from RAB is a mid-length waterproof shell made for men who venture into wet, windy mountain environments. It’s unlined so you can adjust your insulation layers underneath, keeping you dry without overheating on the climb up or the trek down.

Constructed from 100% recycled polyester with a fluorocarbon-free DWR finish, this three-layer shell balances ruggedness with eco-friendly materials. The regular fit offers room for a base layer and midlayer, while GORE-TEX Pro fabric stands up to heavy rain and wind. Weighing 505 grams, it’s packable enough for alpine routes yet tough enough to handle rocky terrain.

The three-layer 80D GORE-TEX Pro system sandwiches a waterproof, breathable membrane between durable outer and inner fabrics. The “80D” refers to the denier count, indicating a thicker yarn that resists abrasion. DWR (durable water repellent) treatment makes water bead up and roll off the surface, preventing the outer fabric from soaking through. Using recycled polyester and a fluorocarbon-free DWR reduces environmental impact without sacrificing performance.
