The Elan Playmaker 87 is a freestyle-piste ski designed for skiers who want a playful yet dependable ride on groomed slopes. With an 87 mm waist and a design tuned for piste use up to 88 mm underfoot, it bridges the gap between nimble trick-oriented skiing and confident carving.

Featuring a sidecut of 119/87/108 mm at 156 cm and a 14 m radius, the Playmaker 87 responds quickly to your movements while holding an edge firmly through each turn. At 1 260 g per ski, it stays light enough for presses, rolls and quick transitions without feeling cumbersome. The flat binding platform gives you freedom to choose your mounting position, so you can dial in the perfect balance for freestyle moves or straight-lining groomers.

Sidecut radius refers to the curve of the ski’s edges and determines how tightly it will turn—a 14 m radius naturally follows medium-sized arcs, making linked turns feel smooth. The taillering numbers (119/87/108 mm) indicate the width at tip, waist and tail: a narrower center speeds edge-to-edge changes, while the broader tip and tail boost stability when carving.
