The Black Crows Ova Freebird is a lightweight touring ski designed for riders who want to explore backcountry terrain without carrying extra bulk. Built with a flat mounting area for custom bindings, it’s aimed at those who prefer choosing their own binding system and value a ski that performs both on the ascent and the descent.
With a radius of 17 m at 170 cm, the Ova Freebird strikes a balance between stable turns at speed and quick, responsive arcs when the slope tightens up. Its 123/85/107 mm profile gives a narrow waist for solid edge grip on hard snow while the slightly wider tip and tail help the ski stay balanced in softer snow. Tipping the scales at just 1 125 g per ski, it keeps uphill effort to a minimum without sacrificing downhill control.

Black Crows says about the Ova Freebird
It is a ski with a stronger flex, very lively, but still very accessible and easy-going. The objective of lightness does not impose any constraints on its downhill behaviour, designed to be comfortable and exemplary. Its purposeful core makes it a beautiful beast, which gains in dynamism without losing its popularity.
