Product Description

The Wechsel Pathfinder is a single-person dome tent designed for lightweight backpacking and minimalist camping. Its simple setup and low-profile shape provide dependable shelter when you’re on the move.

The outer tent is made of 40D siliconized ripstop nylon that resists tears and sheds light rain, while the inner layer of 30D ripstop nylon offers a breathable barrier to reduce condensation. A 150D Oxford polyester floor with PU coating and taped seams helps keep moisture out, and the NoSeeUm 40D mesh lining stops even the smallest insects from getting inside. Coming in at 2.2 kilograms and packing down to roughly 46 by 15 centimetres, it slips easily into a backpack without weighing you down.

“Denier” (D) measures the thickness of individual textile fibers: higher D ratings mean tougher, more tear-resistant fabric, and lower ratings cut weight. Siliconization applies a thin silicone layer to improve water resistance without adding much bulk. PU (polyurethane) coating on the floor creates a waterproof seal, and taped seams cover stitch holes to prevent leaks. NoSeeUm mesh has an ultra-fine weave that keeps out midges and other tiny bugs for a bug-free night.
