The Volkl Secret 102 is a ski designed to handle a variety of conditions, from groomed trails to softer off-piste snow. Its 102 mm waist gives you a balance of stability on harder surfaces and enough float to keep you moving when the snow gets deeper.
At 163 cm in length, the Secret 102 has a 15 m turn radius for smooth, controlled arcs that don’t feel overly tight or overly drawn out. The 140 / 102 / 123 mm sidecut shape provides a wide platform at the tip and tail for buoyancy and a narrower centre section for quicker edge changes. It features a flat mounting platform so you can fit the bindings of your choice in the optimal position. With each ski weighing 1968 g, it stays lively underfoot without feeling too heavy to manoeuvre.
Sidecut numbers refer to the ski’s width at the tip, waist and tail. A deeper sidecut (larger differences between those measurements) helps the ski carve turns more aggressively, while a shallower sidecut sweeps through longer, straighter arcs. The 15 m turn radius describes the ideal curve the ski will follow when tilted on edge, placing it between quick, tight turns and more relaxed, wide turns.
