Product Description

The Vango Scafell 300 Plus is a midweight tunnel tent designed to shelter three campers on extended trips. It balances livable internal space with an efficient layout, so you get room for gear and sleeping without dragging along too much bulk.

Its 70D Protex outer fabric and robust polyurethane groundsheet combine durability with protection against damp ground, while the breathable polyester inner helps cut down on condensation. The Powerlite alloy poles hold the tunnel profile firm in changeable weather, and once packed down to 48 × ⌀17 cm it slips into your pack without hogging space.

In tent fabrics, 70D refers to denier, or the thickness of the yarn—higher denier generally means tougher material, so this tent stands up better to abrasion. Protex is Vango’s finishing treatment for added resilience, and Powerlite alloy poles are an aluminum blend that strikes a solid balance between strength and weight, keeping the overall pack size manageable.
