The Sangro Jacket by The North Face is a waterproof, unlined outdoor jacket designed for men who need reliable protection from rain and wind on the trail or around camp.
Constructed from 100% polyester with a regular fit, this jacket uses a two-layer DryVent™ design to keep moisture out while allowing sweat to escape. The lightweight build and minimal layering make it easy to pack and move in, and the PFC-free durable water repellent finish helps rain bead up on the surface for improved weather resistance without harmful chemicals.
DryVent™ is a waterproof-breathable technology that sandwiches a protective membrane between two layers of fabric, preventing water penetration while letting body heat and moisture vapor pass through. The PFC-free DWR treatment accelerates water runoff without perfluorinated compounds, reducing environmental impact while maintaining fabric performance.

The North Face says about the Sangro Jacket
You don’t always need fussy details and loads of pockets. Sometimes you just want a really good waterproof jacket and that’s exactly what the Sangro is. This shell is made from lightweight, two-layer DryVent™ with taped seams and a water-repellent finish. All of this means you stay dry, protected from the wind and won’t get too hot and sweaty in the process – ideal when hiking in shifting conditions. Although this slim-fitting waterproof has a clean look, it does still have features you need when hiking in bad weather. Like a placket over the front zip. And the Velcro® cuffs, shock cord hem and adjustable, stowable hood – all to keep wind and rain out. The lining is soft mesh taffeta and your chin is protected from the zip with a smooth brushed knit chin guard. Two hand pockets finish it all off nicely. And simply.
