The Quest Jacket from The North Face is an unlined, waterproof shell for men who need dependable rain and wind protection while hiking, camping or just moving through damp conditions. It strips back extra layers to focus on weather resistance without adding unnecessary weight.

Built with a 2-layer DryVent laminate and 100% polyester fabric, this jacket sheds water on contact and dries quickly when the sky clears. The regular fit leaves room for a mid-layer underneath, and the simple, unlined design makes it easy to pack into your daypack or clip to a belt loop.

DryVent is The North Face’s proprietary waterproof-and-breathable system that bonds a thin, water-blocking membrane to the outer fabric. That membrane stops rain from getting in while still letting sweat vapor escape, so you stay dryer and more comfortable during active use.

This shell is made from lightweight, two-layer DryVent™ with taped seams and a water repellent finish. All this means you stay dry, protected from the wind and won't get too hot and sweaty in the process – ideal when hiking in shifting conditions. It features a fitted, adjustable hood and a cinch-cord hem and elasticated cuffs to keep bad weather out. A brushed-knit chin guard means the top of the zip won't become irritating and there are two zipped hand pockets.
