Product Description

The Scarpa Veloce is a men’s climbing shoe designed for intermediate to advanced climbers. It sits in Scarpa’s Advanced category, offering a versatile option for a range of climbing styles, from slab to overhang.

The Veloce features a medium-soft sole that provides a good mix of sensitivity and support, helping you feel the rock without sacrificing comfort during longer climbs. Its S-72 rubber outsole, at 4 mm thickness, delivers reliable grip and durability on both indoor walls and outdoor routes. Two Velcro straps let you dial in the fit quickly, and Scarpa recommends trying up to two sizes smaller than your normal shoe size for a secure, performance-oriented feel.

The 4 mm rubber thickness means the sole wears more slowly, so you keep consistent friction as the shoe breaks in. A medium-soft midsole offers enough stiffness for precise edging but still flexes to follow your foot on small holds. At about 195 g per shoe (size 40.5), the Veloce stays light enough to reduce fatigue without feeling overly flimsy.
