Product Description

The Rab Outpost 500 is a two-season blanket-style sleeping bag designed for campers who value space and warmth on mild nights. Its generous rectangular shape and 160 cm width make it well suited to relaxed campsite use when temperatures hover around 7 °C at comfort level.

Crafted from 100% recycled 30D polyamide inside and out, the Outpost 500 offers room for sleepers up to about 190 cm tall, providing extra freedom to stretch or share. Filled with Nikwax-treated European duck down (650 FP, RDS-certified), it maintains loft even in damp conditions and delivers reliable warmth without excess bulk.

Fill power (650 FP) indicates how much space a given weight of down occupies—higher fill power means better warmth-to-weight. RDS certification guarantees responsibly sourced down, and the Nikwax hydrophobic treatment helps the insulation resist moisture, so it stays fluffy and insulating if the air feels damp.
