The Neutrino 400 Wide is a mummy‐style down sleeping bag from Rab, built for three‐season camping when you want a little extra room without giving up on warmth. It’s aimed at hikers and campers who need a lightweight, packable bag that still offers generous internal space for shifting around at night.

This wide‐cut design gives more shoulder and torso room before tapering to the foot, trapping heat where you need it while reducing bulk elsewhere. It’s insulated with 800FP RDS-certified European goose down treated with Nikwax’s PFC-free hydrophobic finish, helping the loft stay dry and insulating in damp conditions. The recycled 20D Pertex® Quantum ripstop shell with a fluorocarbon-free DWR adds durability and moisture resistance without extra weight. Despite its extra width, it falls into the ultralight category for its temperature rating, and the 215 cm length suits campers up to about 185 cm tall. It’s rated for comfort down to –1 °C for women and –7 °C for men, so you can count on steady warmth as the mercury dips.

Fill power (FP) measures how much volume a given weight of down traps—800FP means more warmth per gram. RDS certification guarantees responsible sourcing, and the Nikwax hydrophobic treatment helps the down resist moisture to maintain loft. The 20D ripstop fabric balances lightweight build with tear resistance, and its durable water repellent finish sheds light rain or condensation to protect the insulation.
