The Rab Microlight Jacket is a lightweight, down-insulated layer designed to keep you warm during cold-weather adventures. With no hood and a regular fit, it works well on its own or slipped under a waterproof shell for extra protection when the temperature drops.

Its shell is made from 100% polyamide and it’s packed with 100% down, giving you an excellent warmth-to-weight ratio. The Pertex Quantum fabric helps seal out wind and lets the down loft fully, while the fluorocarbon-free durable water repellent finish sheds light moisture without using harsh chemicals. At just over 400 g, it stuffs down small, so it won’t weigh you down on long hikes or climbing days.

Pertex Quantum is a tightly woven nylon fabric that combines low weight with high tear resistance, stopping drafts and protecting the down clusters so they stay fluffy and insulating. The DWR (Durable Water Repellent) treatment makes water bead up on the surface rather than soaking in, helping the jacket handle drizzle or snow flurries. Because the DWR is fluorocarbon-free, it’s kinder to the environment while still keeping you drier in damp conditions.
