The Petzl Oscillante is a pulley for rescue and hauling purposes. For example crevasse rescue or hauling on a big wall. The Oscillante is under all circumstances  very easy to install on the rope thanks to its rotating side panels. Thanks to the self-lubricating wheel virtually no energy is lost (efficiency = 71%).
