The Nordisk Oppland 2 PU (2.0) is a two-person tunnel tent designed for campers who want a reliable shelter without unnecessary bulk. With a low profile and straightforward setup, it’s aimed at those who value both living space and ease of transport on overnight or multi-day trips.

This tent uses a PU-coated ripstop polyester flysheet (68D) paired with a breathable 68D inner tent, striking a balance between weight and durability. The tunnel shape provides a 165 cm width, 430 cm depth and 110 cm peak height, so there’s room to sit up or gear up inside. A 150D polyester groundsheet adds robustness where you need it most, and the whole package packs down to 50 x 20 cm—light enough (3.95 kg full weight, 3.8 kg trail weight) to carry on your backpack without eating into your gear budget.

In simple terms, the “D” in denier refers to thread thickness: 68D fabrics keep the tent light yet resistant to tears, while the 150D floor stands up to rocks and rough ground. Hydrostatic head (HH) is a measure of how much water pressure a fabric can withstand before leaking; here, the groundsheet’s 8 000 mm HH rating helps keep moisture out of the tent floor.
