Nitro Fate

The Nitro Fate is a women’s all-mountain snowboard from the 2018–2019 range, designed to handle groomed runs, variable terrain and the occasional off-piste adventure. It’s aimed at riders who want a single board that can keep up across different slopes and snow conditions without feeling out of place.

With its directional twin shape, the Fate offers a twin-tip feel for riding switch while maintaining a slight directional bias for stability and tracking at speed. The medium flex rating of 5 strikes a good balance between responsiveness and forgiveness, making it easier to carve clean turns on piste and stay in control when the terrain gets a bit rough.

Nitro’s Cam-Out profile combines a flat section between the bindings for stable edge hold with rocker at the tip and tail to reduce catch and boost float in softer snow. Weighing in at 2.2 kg, the Fate stays light enough for quick maneuvers yet substantial enough to dampen chatter on uneven surfaces.
