The Nemo Tensor Alpine Regular Mummy is a lightweight sleeping pad built for backcountry and alpine adventures. It’s designed to keep you insulated from the ground while weighing in at just over half a kilo.

When inflated it offers 183 x 51 x 8 cm of sleeping surface, enough room for a comfortable night under the stars, and it squashes down to a 20 x 8 cm stuff sack for easy carry. The 20D PU polyester top balances durability and low weight, while the aluminized film layer helps trap your body heat for extra warmth without adding bulk. At 550 grams this pad falls into the light category, making it a solid choice for those who count every gram in their pack.

The R-value of 4.8 measures the pad’s thermal resistance, meaning it will help keep you warm across a range of seasons by limiting heat loss to the ground. The “20D” in 20D PU polyester refers to the denier of the fabric, a unit that indicates the thickness of the fibres: higher denier fabrics tend to be more tear-resistant, so you get a material that stands up to rocks and roots while still staying light.
