Product Description

The Nemo Hornet OSMO 1P is a lightweight, one-person tent designed for solo backpacking trips where every ounce and cubic inch matters. It offers shelter and bug protection without weighing you down or taking up too much space in your pack.

Constructed with a 100% Ripstop Polyester rainfly (Osmo) and a 100% Nylon Ripstop inner tent with No-See-Um mesh, this tent balances durability and ventilation. The 8.5 mm DAC Featherlite NSL aluminum poles give it a sturdy structure while keeping the weight low. Its compact packed size of 32 × 19 × 7 cm means it tucks easily into a backpack, and at 0.822 kg it stays under the kilo mark for minimalist hikers.

The fabrics are rated by denier (D), which measures thread thickness: the inner tent’s 15D nylon mesh is fine enough to keep out tiny insects, while the midweight Osmo polyester (60–75D) used on the rainfly and floor adds tear resistance where you need it most. The floor’s 1500 mm Osmo fabric offers extra abrasion protection, and the aluminum poles strike a balance between strength and lightness, ensuring the tent stands up to wind and weather without adding bulk.

Voor wie op zoek is naar een ultralichte schuilplaats met meer volume, biedt Hornet OSMO een benijdenswaardige leefruimte en comfort zonder zijn luchtige gewichtsklasse op te offeren. Met capaciteiten variërend van 1P tot 3P, is Hornet OSMO™ gemaakt met de ultralichte variant van onze OSMO™ reeks stoffen, waardoor het wordt uitgerust met 3x minder rek wanneer nat en een niveau van waterafstotendheid dat droger begint en droger blijft dan de rest. (Nog beter? Met OSMO hebben we voor altijd chemicaliën en koolstofemissies geschrapt, samen met elk onnodig gewicht.)

Om Hornet OSMO extra slank te houden, is er een minimale paalstructuur die razendsnel op te zetten is en die gepaard gaat met onze volumeverhogende Flybar™ en deurclips om royale interne ruimte te creëren. Gereflecteerde spanlijnen en hoekstutten verhogen ook het volume bij de voet en beschermen slaapzakken tegen condensatie op de tentwand. Een bovenliggende Nightlight Pocket™, Gatekeeper™-koorden met één hand en een rechthoekige Divvy Cube™ stuff zak zijn nieuwe toevoegingen die gemak en comfort toevoegen, geen grammen. Met de nieuwe Divvy Cube past deze tent klein genoeg om in het onderste compartiment van je rugzak te passen - met een slaapzak!

Zowel de 3-persoons als de 2-persoons Hornet OSMO-tenten hebben twee deuren en twee vestibules. De 3P weegt minder dan drie pond, de 2P weegt slechts twee pond en de 1-persoons weegt een luchtige 26 ounce.
