The Meru Jauja Hybrid Jacket Men’s is a hooded, synthetic-insulated jacket built for outdoor activities. It’s designed to provide warmth and protection when you’re out hiking or camping in cooler conditions, without relying on natural down.
The jacket has a regular fit that works well with both base layers and mid-layers. Its hybrid construction merges three polyamide fabrics: a ripstop shell for added durability, a stretch-infused shell for freedom of movement, and a smooth outer layer for light wind and moisture resistance. Inside, 100% polyester padding traps body heat without adding bulk, so you stay comfortable as temperatures drop.
Ripstop refers to a weaving technique that incorporates a subtle grid of stronger threads to prevent small tears from spreading, extending the life of the fabric. Polyamide (often known as nylon) offers robustness and quick-drying properties, while elastane in the second shell adds stretch for unrestricted mobility. The synthetic polyester padding holds warmth even when damp and dries faster than natural alternatives.
