The Marker Jester 16 is a freeride ski binding designed to keep you connected to your skis whether you’re charging through powder or tackling mixed terrain. It offers a versatile release system that adapts to a wide range of skiing styles and conditions.

With a DIN setting range from 6 to 16, the Jester 16 lets you dial in the right amount of retention for your weight and skiing intensity, so the binding holds firm on hard landings yet still releases when you need it. Weighing in at 1,070 grams per pair, it strikes a balance between durability and responsiveness, while the included brakes give you peace of mind by preventing runaway skis after a release.

The DIN scale (Deutsches Institut für Normung) measures how much force is required for the binding to release your boot. A lower number means it will release more easily (useful for lighter skiers or those doing park laps), while a higher number holds on tighter (better for heavier skiers or high-speed descents). The 6–16 range covers most intermediate to expert freeride setups, letting you fine-tune safety and performance.
