The Kampa Brean 4 is a four-person family tent with a pole structure, built for camping trips where space and reliability matter. Its straightforward design makes it a good choice for family outings or group adventures, offering a communal living area and sleeping space for up to four people.
The outer tent is made from Weathershield 68D polyester, which balances lightweight handling with resistance to wear, while the inner tent’s 100% breathable polyester promotes good airflow inside. A robust 100% polyethylene groundsheet of 130 g/m² helps keep moisture and drafts at bay, and Duratex glassfiber poles provide flexible support, helping the tent stand firm even when winds pick up. All this packs down into a 69 × 29 × 27 cm carry bag, with pegs and guy lines included for straightforward setup.
The term “68D” refers to the denier count, a unit that measures the thickness of each yarn in the fabric—a higher denier generally means tougher material that’s more resistant to tears. The groundsheet’s 130 g/m² weight indicates a heavier, more puncture-resistant layer underfoot. Duratex glassfiber poles combine the strength needed to hold the tent shape with enough flexibility to bend under load without breaking.
