Julbo Idol

The Julbo Idol is a pair of children’s sunglasses made to protect young eyes during outdoor adventures. Built under the Uitrusting Brillen line, these shades balance sun protection and comfort so kids can stay outside longer without squinting or fussing over their eyewear.

Featuring a 16 mm nose bridge and 120 mm temple arms, the Idol provides a snug yet gentle fit that stays in place through play and activity. The 51 mm-wide lenses offer ample coverage for smaller faces, shielding eyes from side glare as well as direct sun. With a lightweight frame and a lens category 3 tint, these glasses help reduce brightness and make sunny days more enjoyable for little explorers.

Lens category 3 indicates a dark tint that blocks a significant portion of visible light—typically allowing only 8–18% of light through. This level of filtering is well suited to bright outdoor conditions, such as at the beach or on snowy slopes, and helps protect against glare without distorting colors or making things look unnaturally dark.
