The Hilleberg Allak 2 Demo is a two-person dome tent from Hilleberg’s lightweight range. This demo unit has only been pitched once in-store and comes complete with everything you need to get going in the backcountry.

The Allak 2 uses Kerlon 1200 fabric for the flysheet—a 30-denier high-tenacity ripstop nylon treated with a triple silicone finish—and a 70-denier polyurethane-coated floor for extra strength underfoot. Sturdy 9 mm DAC Featherlite NSL poles keep the structure stable while keeping pack weight down to 3.3 kg (2.8 kg trail weight). Included are a carry bag, guylines and pegs for a streamlined setup.

Denier measures the thickness of individual fibers: the 30D flysheet balances lightness with tear resistance, while the 70D floor fabric offers added durability where abrasion is highest. The triple silicone finish adds dimensional stability and tensile strength, and the polyurethane coating on the floor guards against moisture and wear. The DAC Featherlite NSL pole system combines aluminum with stainless steel for reliable performance at minimal weight.
