“Radius” describes the size of the arc a ski naturally wants to carve—smaller values mean sharper, more responsive turns. The sidecut dimensions (tip/waist/tail) show how the ski engages the snow: a wider tip and tail aid in initiating turns, while a narrower waist provides precision and control.
