The GrueziBag Biopod Wolle Almhütte 195 is a lightweight blanket model sleeping bag with a natural wool filling. Weighing around half a kilo, the Biopod Wolle Almhütte is light and small enough to have with you at all times.
The Biopod Wolle Almhütte is a very comfortable blanket in warm countries and when unzipped can be used perfectly as an underblanket. For tours where you travel lightly packed, it is price-conscious and lightweight solution.
Wool is a pleasant filling material because it is naturally anti-bacterial, provides optimal moisture removal and continues to insulate well when damp.
How does wool work as filling?Your body releases moisture at all times. Therefore, it is important that a sleeping bag can transport moisture. If there is too much moisture in a sleeping bag, it becomes clammy and can no longer regulate temperature properly. Too much moisture in the sleeping bag causes your body to cool down. On the contrary, wool can absorb moisture well (7x as much as cotton) and passes it outside in doses - preventing evaporative cooling. This regulation creates a warming or cooling effect to create a dry, comfortable climate. Wool stays warm when damp.
Grüezi uses wool from the Alpine region. Sustainable, natural, biodegradable, and recyclable.

Gruezi Bag says about the Biopod Wolle Almhutte 195
BIOPOD WOLLE ALMHÜTTE
The optimal sleeping bag for the hut and for travelling.
Thanks to its rectangular shape, the sleeping bag can also be used as a blanket. The pillow cover on the underside is also very practical - a pillow can be inserted here hygienically.
The thing about our AlmWolle sleeping bags is their insulation: the body needs a lot of energy to regulate its temperature. Sheep's wool balances the climate and takes over part of the temperature regulation.
THE EFFECT OF UNIQUE ALMWOLLE INSULATION
The lavalan® AlmWolle used in Grüezi bag products creates an excellent microclimate: the body releases moisture at all times. However, if there is too much humidity in the sleeping bag, the body starts to freeze. Wool absorbs moisture and passes it on to the outside in doses - so that no evaporative cooling occurs. This regulation allows for a warming or cooling effect to enable a dry, comfortable climate. Wool also warms even when damp.
Grüezi bag uses wool from sheep from the Alpine region. Robust, natural, biodegradable and renewable.
