The Gruezi Bag Biopod DownWool Subzero Comfort is a two-season blanket-style sleeping bag that brings together duck down and wool for reliable warmth and natural moisture management. It’s made for campers who like a bit more freedom of movement and need a versatile sleep system for spring and autumn nights.

Inside you’ll find 580 g of insulation blending 70% 650 fill-power duck down with 30% wool, offering a lofty feel and helping to regulate humidity as you sleep. The blanket cut lets you spread it out like a quilt when it’s mild or tuck in mummy-style as temperatures dip. A 100% 20D nylon shell and lining keep the bag lightweight yet durable, and at 225 cm long it comfortably fits users up to around 195 cm tall.

The 650 fill-power rating measures how much air the down traps per ounce, meaning you get efficient warmth with less bulk. Adding wool fibres helps absorb and wick away moisture, so dampness from sweat won’t leave you chilled. The finely woven 20-denier nylon fabric resists snags while keeping overall weight down. This bag is rated for comfort down to +4 °C for women and −1 °C for men, making it well suited to mild two-season conditions.

The summer can come; with the Biopod DownWool Subzero Comfort you will have a lot of fun. Its square shape means that the sleeping bag can be opened up entirely and used as a blanket. Important: Blanket-style sleeping bags have to be shaken out before you go to sleep so that the DownWool filling is evenly distributed.
Its DownWool filling, a mixture of down that ensures pleasant insulation, and wool that works like natural air-conditioning, ensures an outstanding sleep climate. The wool also makes the sleeping bag more resistant to moisture than pure down. The pillow pocket is also very practical. Just insert a fleece jacket here and you already have a non-shifting pillow.

How DownWool works
DownWool is an innovative high-end filling composed of 70% down and 30% wool. Down has a very high insulation capacity and a low weight. However, down only provides insulation as long as it is dry. With increasing humidity, the insulating effect of down is significantly reduced. The characteristic of wool is that it provides insulation and absorbs moisture. In this way, the down will stay dry and thus keeps its very high insulation capacity. With the unique mix of DownWool we achieve optimal insulation and a perfect dry sleeping climate with a low weight. The sleeping climate is decisive for sleep quality. The deeper and more relaxed your sleep, the more rested you will be the next morning.
