Product Description

The Venus III UL from Exped is a lightweight, three-person dome tent designed for backpackers and campers who need a reliable shelter without extra bulk. It offers enough space for three occupants and their gear, making it suitable for multi-day trips in varied conditions.

The tent’s outer canopy uses 15D ripstop nylon with PU coating and factory-taped seams, keeping weight low while resisting tears and drafts. Inside, the combination of 15D nylon and 20D No-See-Um mesh provides good airflow and solid insect protection, and the 40D ripstop nylon floor adds extra durability where it matters most. You also get guy lines, stakes and a compact carry sack, so everything packs down neatly and is ready to go.

Denier (D) measures the thickness of the fabric yarn: 15D materials are ultralight but still offer tear resistance, 20D mesh hits the sweet spot between weight and keeping out tiny insects, and a 40D floor fabric delivers added strength against rocks and rough ground. All together, these choices keep the tent’s pack weight at 2.75 kg while balancing durability and performance.

Heel veel ruimte voor heel weinig gewicht: dat is de Venus III UL van Exped.

De Venus III UL is geschikt voor 3-seizoenen. Door de stabiele constructie zijn wind en regen geen probleem voor deze tent.

Door het ultralichte materiaal is de tent ideaal voor meerdaagse trek- en fietstochten waar je niet te veel gewicht wilt meenemen.

Het klassieke ontwerp van Exped resulteert in een ruime tent met twee ingangen. Zo hebben allebei de gebruikers een eigen deur en ruimte voor bagage. Allebei de ingangen zijn voorzien van een voortent voor nog meer ruimte.

Ventilatieopeningen aan weerszijden en de bovenzijde van de tent zorgen dat condensatie aanzienlijk wordt vermindert.
