Exped Outer Space III

The Outer Space III from Exped is a three-person lightweight dome tent designed to offer reliable shelter for backpacking and camping adventures. It balances the need for durable materials with a size and weight that make it suitable for multi-day trips where every gram and centimetre of pack space matters.

The tent’s PU-coated 40D ripstop nylon flysheet with factory-taped seams keeps rain and dampness at bay without weighing you down, while the inner tent combines 40D ripstop nylon and fine 15D No-See-Um mesh for balanced airflow and insect protection. A sturdy PU-coated polyester taffeta groundsheet guards against ground moisture and abrasion. At just 3.1 kg and packing down to 56 × 23 cm, the Outer Space III slips easily into your pack and comes complete with guy lines, pegs and a compact carry bag for straightforward setup in the field.
