Product Description

The Orion II Extreme from Exped is a two-person lightweight dome tent built for campers and backpackers who need a tough, reliable shelter on the trail. It sits in the heavy-duty category of Exped’s lineup, offering a balance of durable fabrics and a carry-friendly weight that suits multi-day trips or rugged weekend outings.

The rainfly uses 40D silicone-coated ripstop nylon for added tear resistance, while the inner tent pairs 30D nylon with 20D No-See-Um mesh to keep insects at bay and encourage airflow. The floor is made of 70D taffeta nylon for extra abrasion resistance against rocks and roots. At 3.25 kg trail weight (3.6 kg fully equipped), it remains light enough for backpacking without sacrificing sturdiness. You also get guy lines, pegs and a compact stuff sack so you can pitch or pack away your camp gear with minimal fuss.

De Orion II Extreme is zelfs in het zwaarste weer een robuust en comfortabel onderkomen.

Er is ruimschoots genoeg ruimte voor twee personen in de binnentent. De binnentent is voorzien van twee ingangen, een dubbele deur met No-See-Um muskietengaas en meerdere ventilatie opties.

Harde wind, regen en sneeuw zijn geen probleem voor deze expeditie tent. Zo zorgt de doorlopende nokboog voor extra stabiliteit en sluit de buitentent strak aan op de grond. Zo krijgt de wind geen vat op de tent.
