The Esbit Pocket Stove S is a lightweight camping burner that runs on solid fuel tablets. Its compact fold-out design makes it a straightforward cooking solution when you’re out in the backcountry or on the trail.

Delivering around 3000 W of power, this burner brings water to a simmer or boil in a reasonable time, cutting down waiting around. You simply place a fuel tablet under the stand, light it, and set your pot on top. At 0.18 kg and measuring just 9.8 × 7.7 × 2.3 cm when stowed, it barely makes a dent in your pack, and you can stretch your tablets to get up to 1 hour 40 minutes of burn time.

In practical terms, 3000 W (watts) is the rate of heat transfer—so the higher the wattage, the faster your stove heats your pot. Fuel tablets are small solid blocks that burn steadily and don’t spill like liquid fuels, though they do leave a bit of ash you’ll need to brush off.
