Product Description

The Dynastar M-Free 118 is a deep-snow ski made for riders who spend their days hunting fresh powder. With its broad profile and substantial build, it’s aimed at skiers looking to stay afloat and in control when the slopes disappear under soft, unpacked snow.

This ski’s 118 mm waist and generous tip and tail widths give it plenty of surface area to float on top of deep snow, while the 24 m turning radius helps keep things stable when you link long, sweeping arcs. At 4.7 kg per ski, the M-Free 118 feels solid underfoot and resists chatter in variable conditions. The flat mounting area also lets you choose and position your own bindings to suit your style and stance.

Radius refers to the size of the arc the ski naturally wants to make when you tip it on edge—a longer radius like 24 m makes for broader, more controlled turns. The taillering measurement (145/118/135 mm) describes the ski’s shape from tip through waist to tail: a wide tip for entry and float, a narrower waist to ease turn initiation, and a slightly narrower tail to help you release out of turns.
