The Dynafit Free 97 is a tour freeride ski built to bridge the gap between uphill efficiency and playful descents. With a 97 mm waist, it’s aimed at skiers who want a versatile companion for mixed snow conditions in the backcountry.
Each ski weighs just 1.46 kg (177 cm), placing it comfortably in the very light bracket for tour freeride skis and reducing fatigue on long approaches. The flat mounting plate gives you the freedom to choose your preferred binding, while the 97 mm waist width strikes a balance between float in softer snow and nimble edge-to-edge performance on firmer terrain.
Radius refers to the natural arc a ski will carve on edge—at 19 m, the Free 97 delivers a blend of stability on wider turns and manageable response when you need tighter lines. Its 126 mm tip and 116 mm tail help the ski stay afloat in deeper snow, and the narrower midsection makes turning more intuitive and precise.
