The Dometic Rarotonga FTT 601 TC is a six-person inflatable tent designed to serve as a comfortable basecamp for family or group camping trips. As a package deal, it comes complete with a protective footprint and a carpet to lay inside your living area.

With its pump-up beams, pitching this tent is straightforward and avoids the hassle of traditional poles, while the generous 440 cm by 685 cm floor plan and 210 cm headroom give ample space for everyone to move around or relax. The outer layer uses Dometic’s Weathershield TC fabric, a breathable polyester–cotton blend that helps reduce condensation and stands up to wear, the inner section mixes polyester and cotton for comfort and airflow, and the polyethylene groundsheet keeps dampness at bay. Although its 53.5 kg weight means it travels best by car, that mass contributes to a stable, sturdy structure you can leave up over several nights.

Weathershield TC refers to a technical cotton blend that combines the natural breathability of cotton with the durability and quick-dry properties of polyester. This material helps balance airflow and resistance to the elements, giving a more comfortable interior climate without compromising on strength.
