The Coleman Vail 4 L is a four-person polyester family tent designed for comfortable camping trips where you need reliable shelter and decent airflow. It’s aimed at families or small groups who set up camp at a base rather than on long backpacking routes, providing a stable, roomy space to rest and store gear.

The tent’s PU-coated outer fabric adds a layer of water resistance and durability, while its fire-retardant treatment gives extra peace of mind around campfires. Inside, the no-see-um mesh keeps out even the tiniest insects without blocking airflow, helping to reduce condensation. The fully integrated, welded PE groundsheet prevents water or dirt from seeping in, and fibreglass poles offer a flexible yet sturdy frame that’s simple to set up and pack away.

PU-coated polyester means the outer fabric is sealed with a thin polyurethane layer that helps repel moisture and adds strength. The welded groundsheet is heat-sealed rather than stitched, so there are no needle holes for leaks to follow. No-see-um mesh refers to a very fine polyester screen that stops small bugs from entering while letting air pass through.
