Blanket-style sleeping bags are meant for comfortable sleeping, yet may very well be light enough for trips by backpack or bike. Blanket models can be a solution if you want to use the sleeping bag both for active holidays and holidays by car. The fact that you can fully unzip a blanket sleeping bag and actually use it as a blanket is an additional benefit. Often, you can zip two of the same blanket models together to create a 2-person sleeping bag.
