Camber refers to the slight upward arch between the bindings and contact points in the nose and tail, which enhances pop (the board’s springiness) and edge precision. The flex rating on a scale of 1 (soft) to 10 (stiff) indicates how much the board bends; a 6-8 rating means it’s stiff enough to stay steady at speed but still forgiving enough to adjust your stance and absorb bumps.
