Product Description

The Fly Creek HV UL1 Solution Dye 2024 from Big Agnes is an ultralight, single-person tent designed to provide shelter on backpacking trips without adding much weight to your pack.

Its fly is made from 100% solution-dyed nylon ripstop, offering tear resistance and lasting color while cutting down on water and chemical use in manufacturing. Inside, the breathable polyester mesh helps airflow and reduces condensation, and the floor’s nylon ripstop with a 1200 mm PU/silicone coating stands up to ground moisture. Weighing just 0.907 kg and packing down to 13 × 47 cm, it slips easily into most packs. The DAC Featherlite NFL pole system with hub design streamlines setup and keeps the tent stable, and the included Dirt Dagger UL stakes work well in a variety of soils.

Solution-dyed fabric means the color pigment is added during fiber production rather than applied afterward, which improves fade resistance and lowers environmental impact. The 1200 mm PU rating refers to the height of a water column the floor coating can resist before leaking—enough to fend off typical ground dampness—while the silicone layer boosts tear strength.
