The Copper Spur HV UL2 is a dome-style, two-person ultralight tent from Big Agnes, designed for backpackers and hikers who need a reliable shelter that keeps pack weight low while offering comfortable living space. It balances minimal bulk with enough room to sleep and gear up inside at camp.

Built with durable double ripstop nylon for both the fly and floor, the tent stands up to abrasion and helps prevent small tears from spreading. Inside, a combination of ripstop grid and mesh panels promotes airflow for ventilation and gives you a clear view of the surroundings. Weighing just 1.19 kg and fitting into a 50 × 15 cm stuff sack, it’s easy to carry on long treks. The DAC Featherlite NFL + NSL pole system uses lightweight aluminum poles tuned for strength in both the main body and vestibule, and the included Dirt Dagger UL stakes hold firm even in firm ground.

Ripstop nylon is woven with stronger reinforcement threads at regular intervals so that any puncture or tear stays confined rather than running across the fabric. Solution dyeing adds color before the nylon is spun into yarn, which improves fade resistance and reduces the environmental impact of dye waste. The DAC Featherlite pole system combines two tube diameters—NFL for the vestibule and NSL for the main tent—to balance weight savings with structural stability.
