Product Description

The Big Agnes Blacktail 3 is a three-person midweight dome tent that balances durability and packability. It’s designed to offer a reliable shelter for groups or families looking for a spacious yet manageable tent on camping trips.

Both the rain fly and inner tent are made from breathable polyester to help reduce condensation inside. The bathtub-style floor features a polyurethane coating that adds resistance to ground moisture, while lightweight aluminium poles provide a sturdy frame without adding extra bulk. Included Dirt Dagger UL stakes help secure the tent on a variety of terrain, and it all packs down to a 56 x 18 cm bundle for easier storage and transport.

Weighing 2.55 kg, the Blacktail 3 strikes a good balance between sturdiness and carry weight. The polyurethane (PU) coating on the floor is a thin layer of durable polymer that repels water, helping to keep the interior dry when the ground is damp.
