The Bivy Heads Up Large by Bach is a one-person ultralight tunnel tent designed for solo campers who want a reliable shelter without extra bulk. It offers a simple, streamlined space to sleep and store minimal gear while keeping pack weight down to around 1 kg.

Both the inner and outer fabrics use GorLyn 30 siliconised ripstop 6.6 nylon, which keeps the tent light yet resistant to tears. The floor is made from tougher 40D ripstop nylon with a TPU layer and fire-retardant treatment, so it stands up to rough ground. Inside, the 240 cm length and 90 cm width give enough room to stretch out, while the 55 cm peak height lets you sit up when changing clothes. Haringen and guy lines are included, so you have everything you need to pitch and secure the tent.

Ripstop fabric is woven with thicker threads at regular intervals to stop small tears from spreading, and the siliconised finish adds extra water-resistance. “6.6 nylon” refers to a nylon grade known for good strength-to-weight ratio. The 40D rating on the floor indicates a denier count that balances durability with lightness.
