The Atomic Bent Chetler 120 is a freeride ski designed for deep snow and wide-open terrain. With its generous dimensions and carve-friendly bend, it’s made to help riders stay buoyant in powder and explore off-piste lines with confidence.
Measuring 143/120/134 mm at 184 cm, this ski’s wide tip and tail give plenty of float in soft snow, while the 120 mm waist still lets you engage edges when you need to carve. A 19 m turn radius strikes a balance between long, stable arcs and manageable, playful turns. The flat binding setup keeps the ski’s profile consistent underfoot, and at 1,800 g per ski it’s light enough to limit fatigue on skinning tours or long hikes.
The 19 m sidecut radius refers to the curvature of the ski’s edges: a larger number produces smoother, more stable turns at speed, whereas a smaller radius would be tighter and quicker. Combined with the broader tip and tail relative to the waist, this shape helps the ski plane on top of powder instead of digging in, making it easier to stay on the surface of deep snow.

Atomic says about the Bent Chetler 120 23/24
The Atomic Bent Chetler 120 is Chris Benchetler’s signature ski and the big brother of the Bent ski family. This pillow-bashing, powder-slashing machine features topsheet and base art by the man himself. With construction and shaping designed and refined by Chris Benchetler since 2008, the latest iteration redefines what’s possible in big mountain terrain. Dura Cap Sidewall construction combined with revolutionary HRZN Tech offers more surface area in the tip and tail for better tracking through chop and crud with less tip deflection. The Light Woodcore shaves weight while the Carbon Backbone adds strength and stiffness. The Powder Rocker profile offers the perfect amount of tip and tail turn-up, and camber under foot delivers epic performance through deep turns, side hits, and nose butters.
