The Arcteryx Atom Hoody Men’s is a lightweight, synthetic-insulated jacket designed for outdoor pursuits where warmth, breathability and packability matter. It has a slim fit profile with a hood, making it suitable as a midlayer under a shell or as a standalone outer layer in cool, dry conditions.
Built with a Tyono™ 20 nylon shell and Coreloft™ 70 synthetic insulation, the Atom Hoody offers a balance of warmth and mobility. The stretch fleece panels at the sides and under the arms help you move freely, while the moisture-resistant outer fabric and wind-resistant design keep light drizzles and breezes at bay. When you need to save space in your pack, the jacket compresses down small and stuffs into its own pocket.
The Tyono™ 20 fabric is a tightly woven nylon that blocks wind and sheds light moisture without adding much bulk. Coreloft™ 70 insulation provides about 70 grams per square metre of loft, trapping warmth even if it gets damp. The materials include recycled polyester and use a dope-dyed process, which tints the fibres before they’re spun into yarn to reduce water and energy consumption. The Bluesign® certification means the production meets strict environmental and safety standards for chemicals and resource use.
