The Alpha Jacket Women’s by Arc’teryx is a lightweight, unlined shell designed to keep you dry and comfortable during outdoor adventures. As part of a 3-layer waterproof jacket collection, it’s meant to offer reliable protection from rain and wind without weighing you down or overheating.

Made from a blend of 94% nylon and 6% elastane, this jacket balances durability with a touch of stretch for greater freedom of movement. The Hadron™ 3-layer Gore-Tex Pro construction seals out moisture while allowing heat and sweat to escape, and the regular fit leaves room for base layers or midlayers underneath. At just 330 grams, it packs down small, so you can stash it in your pack and pull it out when the weather turns.

The “3-layer” build means the waterproof membrane is bonded between the outer fabric and inner lining for enhanced toughness and a streamlined feel. Gore-Tex Pro is renowned for its very high waterproof performance, suitable for prolonged exposure to wet conditions. “Dope dyed” refers to a dyeing process where color is added to the fiber before it’s spun, cutting water and energy use compared to conventional dyeing and reducing the jacket’s environmental footprint.
