Extra wide

While almost everyone knows their shoe size by heart, very few know how wide their feet are. When looking for the right hiking shoe, it's not just about the length, but also the width of your foot. We use four categories for our hiking shoes: narrow, regular (or medium), wide and extra wide.

Extra-wide feet are becoming quite common among men. Particularly for extra-wide feet that are accompanied by a high instep, an extra-wide shoe is really a solution. The range of extra-wide men's hiking shoes is becoming impressive too. Hiking shoes that are not wide or high enough can cause problems such as pressure on the instep, calluses or even bone growth. A tight shoe can cause a hot and burning sensation due to too much friction.
