Product Description

The Exped LuxeMat Duo LW+ is a two-person sleeping mat designed to bring extra comfort to your outdoor nights. With its generous size and supportive foam core, it’s aimed at campers who want a stable, insulated surface for sleeping under the stars or in a tent.

Measuring 197 × 132 cm and 10 cm thick, this mat creates a spacious platform that helps smooth out uneven ground and keeps both sleepers on the same level. The top layer is made from 100 % ripstop polyester with an Oeko-Tex® 100 certification and a DWR-free finish, so it’s durable and resists moisture without relying on chemical treatments. Inside, the 16 kg/m³ open-cell PU foam provides a soft, buoyant feel that maintains its shape night after night.

Rated with an R-value of 7.2, the LuxeMat Duo LW+ offers strong thermal resistance, keeping heat from escaping into cold ground beneath you. The open-cell structure of the foam allows air to circulate within the mat, helping it retain loft and insulation over time. When it’s time to pack up, it compresses down to roughly 70 × 30 cm and weighs in at 6.7 kg, making it best suited for trips where car or basecamp transport is available.

The unique wool-insulated, organic cotton tricot topper is extremely comfortable. It affords superior moisture management due to wool and cotton's inherent moisture-regulating properties. The wool is certified to the highest animal welfare standard. The 3D construction and thickness of 10 cm provide the best sleeping comfort. Inflation as well as deflation is facilitated by the two flat valves. Smaller items can be stored in the pockets on the sides.

LuxeMat Duo's ripstop shell increases durability and longevity, a core tenet of EXPED's sustainable design philosophy. The core-cover design allows the mat cover to be machine washed. A mini pump and our Sidewinder Bag are included for quick and easy packing.
